Why We Are Here

Indiana Protective Parents Association is here because families in Indiana need us.

You may have found us because you are going through a divorce from an abuser that has become incredibly complicated and frightening and your children are caught in the turmoil. Friends and family may be deserting you and you are realizing that many of the professionals with whom you come into contact through the legal system don’t seem to understand what is happening in your family. You are looking for help and advice about what to do because your children are being hurt and you want to know how to protect them.

Or you may be here to support your friend or loved ones who are experiencing this type of painful situation where abuse has been perpetrated against vulnerable children and in your empathy and love for them, you are searching for how to help them. You have realized that there must be others who have gone through something similar and there could be statistics and research and professionals that can make a difference.

We are here because we understand and because your children matter to us. We are dedicated to helping you by providing encouragement, access to helpful resources - and especially, hope.
